Stellantis Takata airbag recall

The vehicles in question have already have had open recalls on them. This is not new. It's a call for owners to schedule their vehicles in before something bad happens.

I got the do not drive notice so I went to the Chrysler site. I plugged in the vin and it just says error and no data on your vehicle so I clicked the link for the option to email Chrysler about the recall as it told me to do. I then received a notification saying my email was blocked by Chrysler. This is the same old song and dance when I tried to have it replaced years ago. I have no dealerships within 50 miles and every time I called a dealership they took my information including vin # and said someone would call and schedule. Not one single dealership ever called back so I also emailed their service departments and never once got a reply to that either. Chrysler must not like me for some reason. Of course they have no issue with taking my money for new vehicles all these years. I went through the same problems getting my grand Cherokee ignition switch done under a recall and eventually just changed it myself. Guess I'm going to have to do my own airbag too.
