Steering Rack Replacement Options- Honda

Lots of fake stuff on eBay, complete with great looking Honda labels. Either one of the other two would work.
Yup. Even starting to see fake Sonnax transmission parts on Amazon. Here is something that you should find.......interesting. I came across an amusing article a number of years ago. It seems that Lifan Group, a manufacturer who produces, among other items, various sizes of small engines, got wind of a shipment of bogus "Lifan" engines. Now, Lifan is based in China, and when they heard that there were a number of cargo containers sitting on a dock being readied to ship out of China they became just a "tad"......irritated. From what the report stated, it seems that Lifan personnel "Descended upon the docks like an avenging horde" and discovered that, yes, there were a number of cargo containers full of small engines sitting on the dock, and all of those engines were non-sanctioned copies of their own engines from another Chinese manufacturer. I remember laughing so hard that I had a hard time breathing.

Went ahead and ordered a new AAE today based on the responses here. I’m blaming you guys if it leaks, lol. 😂

I also ordered new outer tie rod ends. The ones on the car are still okay, but they aren’t that expensive and there’s a 50/50 chance I damage the old ones removing them, so I’d rather just have new ones to put on. Says I should have them Tuesday, but they are being delivered via FedEx, so I’m not getting my hopes up on that.

If you don't have all the cool tools for bellow clamps, get them. Not expensive and can make life much easier. There's a "straight on" set and a 90 degree set which makes a ton of sense for slipping in from the side, handles parallel with the tie rod. There's also a "screw" style that could be useful but I've never had a need yet
