I heard raxles are pretty good but I don't have a week to wait for them. I installed an AutoZone Duralast axle which is basically Cardone but it's gone bad already. I'm going to get it refunded.

So I have these options:
- Get another Cardone axle but not at AutoZone. I'll get it from Kragen or the local parts house
- Go with a different reman such as USA
- Go with a new Chinese axle such as GSP from WorldPac or DTA from another parts house.

Which is my best option?

Last month I installed a new axel from Oreillys in my geo metro. It was only $10 more than the reman. I am unsure to what brand it is, but it looked to be high quality. Lifetime warranty even on the boots.

So far i've put a year on the Cardone remans I got from O'Reilly's for my 1989 Accord and about 20,000 miles and they're still going strong.

Dealer? A lot of mfgs are starting reman programs. Toyota is one, for instance.

I bought one of those, and the inner joint just fell out.

Yeah, there great if you want the wrong part lol I usually get the right part on the 2nd or 3rd try. I've been used Dearborn Axle for a long time and can't really complain. I'm not sure how great their parts are. The bearings are junk (still use them because they are cheap) and the racks seem to do good for a least a while. As far as shafts, our pricing on Napa reman's and new a lot of the time are just as low as Dearborn and sometimes less expensive.
