Prime rib is my go to, but its getting kind of silly expensive here most of the time.
If its just me and my boys, and we want to eat a lot of beef, I'll get a 50% off discoloring round roast, one with a solid fat layer of fat on one side, and slice it up to 3/4" steaks. Just give it a good wash in sink first as they can be a bit smelly sometimes, but the older they are, the more tender they get!
Just ground salt and pepper on them, and cook to up to medium rare on the bbq, making sure the fat layer is caramelized and crispy on the outside. Then we can all eat beef until we get the "meat sweats" for like $15!

All this talk got me hungry
Strip Steak heavy course salt and pepper
NO we're not gonna wreck it with some butter or goofy sauce I want the Beef to stand for it self every thing else is just some cover up

Ribeye. A bacon wrapped filet is good also - if its good meat.

The Filet side of the T-bone - ie bone on Filet is the best IMHO. THe dogs get much of the strip side. I really don't like strip, and yes if you believe in reincarnation you definitely want to come back as my dogs. Life for them is good.
