Prime rib is my go to, but its getting kind of silly expensive here most of the time.
If its just me and my boys, and we want to eat a lot of beef, I'll get a 50% off discoloring round roast, one with a solid fat layer of fat on one side, and slice it up to 3/4" steaks. Just give it a good wash in sink first as they can be a bit smelly sometimes, but the older they are, the more tender they get!
Just ground salt and pepper on them, and cook to up to medium rare on the bbq, making sure the fat layer is caramelized and crispy on the outside. Then we can all eat beef until we get the "meat sweats" for like $15!
