For a 3 $60K cars, a Tundra pickup and a 2006 TSX? That's dirt cheap.
Some people pay more than that for 1 car, right?
Depends, I wouldn't say it is 'dirt cheap' consider the coverage you showed me wasn't as big as I thought it would be. It is not bad though but not in the "you will not find anything better" deal.
I think for the quote you showed me in DM I would expect 1M coverage and maybe some umbrella thrown on top instead of 100k/300k, people sue all sorts of things these days.
I think maybe I'm too frugal, my insurance used to be 3 cars, 1 beater corolla (liability), 1 IS250 and 1 Prius V (full coverage) for 1K deductible and 300K / 1M liability for 2 drivers of 7k commute. Cost me 1800 a year. With the corolla crushed it is now 1500 or so.
Well

O

. That’s not cheap at all.
And they will go after the houses if you have them. It’s a wacky world we live in.
Then you need to max out the auto, the home, and then throw an umbrella on top. Seriously, self driving with manufacturer insurance liability (Tesla responsible, not the passenger) would probably one day be the mandate for super well off people if they want to reduce their insurance cost.
One "Crazy Rich Asian" I know from a friend's friend in Indonesia, his family probably had some sort of rubber or palm oil plantation, will not let him drive. Despite buying all sorts of super car he had to let the family driver drive it and he could only ride "shotgun". How sad.
