Start-up noise--starving for oil

I'll answer all the input above (much to respond to):

Ok---HORROR was a bit overstated but it got my point across based on the responses! That was my intent. Notice that Auto-Rx didn't respond yet. I'm sure he will but he can't refute what transpired. I just didn't expect his response as to HIS canceling my order (as to the question about miles driven above---I NEVER RECEIVED THE PRODUCT) since I asked the apparently WRONG (Oh my gosh!) question. I wonder if he has EVER refunded money per his guarantee. Am I the first to ask?

I use 5w30 oil as recommended and have also used 10w30 Nissan's secondary recommendation---no difference with respect to the start-up noise. I listened to it again & it sounds like the rumbling of unlubricated ball bearings, thus my description---starving for oil.

As to being a Newbie, yes to THIS board, but that has no bearing on anything. As to one of the sponsors of the site (yes, I knew that before I ordered). That doesn't matter either. I could probably match my credentials (professional degrees, patents, working with customers???, etc) with him but we won't get into that. Treating potential customers with disdain--NOT a good business practice. Perhaps he should pass this function onto someone who knows how to BUILD the business.

Since my truck has over 100,000 miles Auto-Rx recommends 2 treatments. That's why I ordered 2 containers. I even printed the directions.

I don't think my feedback was harsh by any standards. I did say---I guess his guarantee is WORTHLESS based on his reaction---. That's not attacking him but the guarantee. Someone else calling him a dope (sounds like Rosie vs. Trump!!!) was over the line but I appreciate his support.

I even emailed BEFORE the abrupt cancellation of the order that I MAY BECOME ONE OF HIS BEST CUSTOMERS (using maintenance doses on all cars in the family) AND PROMOTERS IF IT WORKS. I guess I hit a raw nerve.

"Customers are always right"---I don't believe in that saying. Some customers are definitely wrong, abusive and surely take advantage of the situation. BUT---companies should go to extremes to please the customer if they want their business, especially if they want to sell their ALLEGED beneficial product. IT SELLS ITSELF IF IT WORKS.

I would love it if he would send me 2 FREE containers as a jesture of good will on his part. Then I hopefully could post a GOOD story (if it works). If it didn't work, I still could not say that it wouldn't work in other situations. I'm somewhat skeptical though as to some of the astronomical testimonies I've read

Happy New Year

Quick question roger1997 - did you really drive 1500 miles after you dumped the auto-rx in? Thats a fair amount of miles between your original post (12/26) and your horror story with the auto-rx guy (1/5). I think you are supposed to do the rinse phase there too, which is another 2000 miles before all the #@$%! is really cleaned out.

Your statements speak volumes. No further comment is warrented.
