Off a 2012 yaris. I just hacked the dome end open with tin snips.
Really just care about looking at the pleats.
I did cut and stretch the media out to look and there wasn’t much of anything caught.
The ADBV was still flexible.
5k + miles and probably 3 month or so.
Oil was super tech sb and a quart of Rislone engine treatment non concentrated.
Probably should have got another 1k or so out of filter and oil but I had time today.

Good looking filter.
I use the Super Tech MP4967 on our Kawasaki Mule.
A good filter to use on Kawasaki v-twin mower engines.

Wonder if the silicone ADBV is coming back on these? Looks like 7500 or more would be possible in a clean engine.
The 10k version has silicone ADBV. It appears to be the only difference whith most of their filter #s except some like the st10060. With that one the 5k version has a dual ADBV/bypass while the 10k version has a real dome end bypass valve.

Looks like the ADBV is Black here but looked "Brownish" before. Also, The old one had metal core with punched holes but this one has the plastic cage.

They have a silicone ADBV on the MP version, and that is the only real difference between the two filters, so I doubt the ST version will get the silicone ADBV.
