ST16 ecore questions

Is the ST16 ecore different from the AC or autozone brand ecore for the same application? I'm curious as to the media amounts, I know champion labs makes them.

The ecore design uses the end cap to filter so this is why the filters are shorter?

I'm unsure of the media differences between one Ecore or the other ..but if there is, I doubt that it's a cost factor issue.

The filter is shorter due to the lack of metal end caps.
