ST 2808 from STP?

I went down to the local partshouse and saw STP filters on the rack. Tehy had teh STP 2808 filter. I used a Supertech 2808 wich Walmart doesn't stock anymore. Is this one in the same as teh supertech? ( I know both are Champion labs).?????

As I understand it, both share identical construction and media. I believe that the stp line contains more models.

STP-2808 is the same as the ST2808. The ST is now a 3593a which is slightly larger and in line with the Fram numbering sequence.

Whan I went to the Fram site STP 2805 was also interchangeable with the 3593a.
