I was asking because the cut in slots usually have problems (granted, much more so with open tracking/VERY hard use than general street use) with stress cracks developing, etc.,
even when it is done 'right' (chamfered, radiused, slots) by VERY good companies (i.e.; Brembo, PF, AP Racing, Stop Tech, etc.).
And yes, I know that pretty much EVERY road race car on the planet uses slotted and/or drilled floating rotors, but they also change them every race, or multiple times
during the race if it is an endurance event.
That being said, I've never had a problem with the Ates, save for a
slight vertical runout imbalance when new.
