My 18 year old Craftsman.

About a quarter of an acre. Mow it about every 10 days April until October. I change the oil three times a season weather it needs it or not. Takes about a cup of oil. Oil rarely gets black just brown.
Good deal, that is about perfect for a self propelled mower. What is the "Exclusive" & "MRS" about? Obviously not the engine horsepower since B&S made a bunch of those engines w/6.75 HP.

Most Reliable Starting LOL if you can believe that. But it didn't take long to fire it up. The big thing it loves fresh non ethanol 92 octane gas.

Thanks! I have a couple "old" 2010 6.5hp? & a 2013 Brute 6.75hp? mowers. One of them advertised one pull starting or something to that effect. It was pretty spot on & appears to be similar to your MRS. Gave the 13' to my son to use & plan to restore the 10' since I convinced Dad that a self propelled was the way to go for push mowing. He gave the 10' to my brother & everything he touches is destroyed in short order. LOL But I have it sitting out there ready to fix. I still need to finish completing the 1953 Lawn Boy restore too. Almost done with that. "Brute" being a B&S brand I thought it was interesting to share.

Are you sure that they're 6.75 hp? I thought that number was actually the torque rating? I have seen several where the 6.75 is pretty boldly written but in the small print it says torque at XXXX rpm. 6.75hp is a lot of power on a smallish mower deck.

Yep! You're correct. Here's my BTPD22625 model that shows "Engine Power (ft lbs).
