Considering a Stihl MS 250 chainsaw

For whatever it’s worth, a friend of mine has an MS250. It’s a pretty decent saw. We took it camping about a month ago at over 8,000 ft of elevation and it ran well without having to make any carburetor adjustments. We live at under 1,000 ft. We cut up and split enough fire wood to keep us warm for about a week.

I’ve had an MS250 for about ten years now. I have replaced the ignition coil on it, other than that it’s been 100% reliable. Wouldn’t part ways with it for anything. I have about three acres that WERE heavily wooded, and are now mostly clear thanks to this saw :)

Just be sure to use good fuel/oil mix in it!
