ON, Canada eh?
I have 2 transmission lines and want to tie into one of them with an adapter of sorts that lets me send it through an automotive engine oil filter and I don't know where to get it.

The reason I want a spin-on engine oil filter is because I have access to a good inventory of them and it's way cheaper for me to change than a Magnefine one because I'm in Canada.

So where can I get such a device?

and TIA!

I just checked it out and they want $26 to ship it to Canada via USPS.

I think I will check with local performance shops first now that I know what type of thing I'm looking for.

Thanks for showing me what was out there for my application!

Any Canucks in Canada know where to get Magnefine for cheap or this type of adapter as showing in the Summit Racing Website?

If you're going to the US soon, call a NAPA and have them order you one for pickup in-store. There was a thread on the NAPA part numbers somewhere around here...

Have them ship it UPS to a customer counter in Buffalo and pick it up when you go over.

HAHAHHAAHHAH YOU TURD!!! You took my advice after all!

Does anybody make a "Oil filter relocation kit" that fit's a 2005 Monte Carlo SS. As you no they take the smaller oil filter, the only place I've found a relocation kit is from Trans Dapt but they only make them for car's with the full size filter. Thank You

Darn I was hoping this thread would die down quickly and you wouldn't see it.

Yeah I was thinking about it after and it was a good idea. I also found where the banjo transmission adaptered lines convert to hoses below my OEM cold air intake tube which I hadn't seen until lately when messing around replacing my coolant sensor. It makes it a piece of cake to tie into this system.

PM slammds15 on here, he's my buddy that works at the local International dealer, I'm sure they've got a filter head kicking around that could be bolted right in..... And probably cheap.

You're seeking a block adapter ..which the Big Chevy is usually adapted for (I probably didn't say that correctly).

This is the gasket size of your oil filter:

Gasket Diameters
Number O.D. I.D. Thk.
Attached 2.734 2.430 0.226

See that little thing there? Add the bigger disc to it ..Big Chevy. Throw it away ..just about any other filter

Just about every passenger car except the older style Chevy is about that size.
