Spark plug opinions

I have a kohler commander (23?) hp engine on a Deere. Around 650 hrs and this is the first time changing the spark plugs. Or second. Anyways, I was hoping to get an idea what the small engine gurus think of how they look. TIA.

The plugs look fine and useable, but I doubt they were gapped the same

Regap and run'em.

Color looks good so air fuel ratio is close enough. Doesn't appear to be burning much oil.

The center electrodes are not significantly rounded at the edges so can run longer, but make sure the gap is not wider than spec.. probably about thirty thousandths... so
as not to stress those fragile Kohler coils.

thanks again for all the replies! I got new OEM “Deere” (champion) spark plugs and gapped to 0.30” installed to good n tight torque (torque wrench wouldn’t fit into odd body housing shape).

3.1415, and I'm proud to say that my ugga dugga's translated into near perfection when I torque wrench-checked the nut on an inertia starter that I was rebuilding.

I have never had a single issue with the RC12YC factory plugs gapped at 0.035". Anything more is a waste of money. Those plugs look normal

those plugs are still serviceable. Check the gaps

Those plugs look fine. Clean them up a bit / gap correctly / save them for the next time you change out plugs.

Gasket seal plugs are torqued by angle you don't need a torque wrench.
New plug 3/4 or 1-1/4 turn (depending on brand) to initially crush the gasket.
Reinstall plug 1/4 turn.

Gents, I appreciate the recent interest in this thread. However, the spark plugs in question have long since been trashed in the 15 months since I last posted. I'll take the comments and guidance posted and apply it in the future however. Again, thank you.
