Soy based wire coating?

Government regs are at least partially behind this by encouraging more use of renewables and recyclable cars, at least in Europe...not sure if we are there yet with regs on the lifecycle management.
Thats great news. So then to lower the "PLASTIC FOOT PRINT" instead of ruining electric wire insulation GET RID OF ALL THE PLASTIC BODY PARTS AND ENGINE PARTS, THEN CLEAN OUT MOST OF THE SAME IN THE INTERIOR. Steel and other metals are much more recyclable than all the plastic junk is. One lousy plastic bumper would probably equal wire insulation for what ?100 cars??, so makes zero logical sense to worry about electric wire insulation, just more morons using their computers instead of their heads. Or maybe the reason is like the Mercedes deal where all the wires under the hood cracked the insulation off and shorted everything out? Could just be the plan? :ROFLMAO:

I just noticed something the last few days as the weather warms a little. When I walk through various parking lots I can smell rat poop and pee around some cars!! I mean it's bad.

I don't really feel bad for my fellow man, it's that somehow my snout is super sensitive to that nasty reek.

Good lordy.

My in-laws have Subarus with the soy based wiring insulation. Went to start it two weeks ago and nothing. Squirrels or mice ate the wires to fuel pump and it had to be towed to the dealership. The repairs are so expensive the insurance company my total it… it is 10 years old.

I never had issues for 27 years until it got really cold this year. I woke up with a bad feeling and ran out to my car and a mouse was chewing my battery insulation cover for bedding.

I actually slapped him to the ground and was ticked and the sucker came back up and ran on the windshield to get back in the car.

I trapped him that night.....
I actually installed these today in the supplied mesh bags....just two per vehicle.

Warning...i opened the bag in my kitchen and it was so bad it hurt my lungs for hours.. regardless of what they say don't use these in your house as they are unbearable.

I put them in my engine compartment and near the battery as that's the sweet spot...

I stayed clear of the firewall and no smell in the vehicles with the HVAC on... I also installed a electronic pest control unit as well to see if it works..

Here's the repellent balls...don't touch with your bare hands... be careful with these... far worse than you know...
