Thats great news. So then to lower the "PLASTIC FOOT PRINT" instead of ruining electric wire insulation GET RID OF ALL THE PLASTIC BODY PARTS AND ENGINE PARTS, THEN CLEAN OUT MOST OF THE SAME IN THE INTERIOR. Steel and other metals are much more recyclable than all the plastic junk is. One lousy plastic bumper would probably equal wire insulation for what ?100 cars??, so makes zero logical sense to worry about electric wire insulation, just more morons using their computers instead of their heads. Or maybe the reason is like the Mercedes deal where all the wires under the hood cracked the insulation off and shorted everything out? Could just be the plan?Government regs are at least partially behind this by encouraging more use of renewables and recyclable cars, at least in Europe...not sure if we are there yet with regs on the lifecycle management.
