Can be at any point in the song and whatever you feel is not bad use of the instrument, which is in the string sections of the classical set up versus percussion and woodwind.

I will start with a not-so-epic one but the piano at the end is endearing.

Yes, this is one of the most beautiful pieces of music ever made at least in the past 50 years and I think it's weird how they split the song Layla and I think pave the way for guns and roses with the two songs in one song approach.
