Songs that you simply never liked? Or can't stand.

Haha yes!! That was always one of our home stereo "demo songs" (y)

Shameless plug for some Cerwin Vega D-9s as great prophet of the 90s once said.. "And the Vegas are bumpin'. I'm ROLLIN..."

... in my five point O...

Maybe a little out of order there I have to go listen now.

Janet Jackson "That's The Way Love Goes" was always a "tester" song for me. That second bass sample will make the bass reflexes.. reflex.
George Benson "Give Me The Night"
Elvis Presley "Suspicious Minds" - Demo songs. Must have good bass with clear mids and highs...

More: Genesis, Sting, and me the oddball with Nirvana, Aerosmith, and Steve Winwood would do out the home stereo. Extensively so with Don Henley on the Onkyo units, since our friend at the time worked for the company.... neighbor's Optimus was always good for a laugh. 🤣🤣🤣 (that one was an Optimus, not Realistic or Archer.)

There were others, and I used to tune to the rap station too but. Trip down memory lane..

A song with some loud clear horns will really test out your midrange and high end drivers (y)

"Starboy" by the Weeknd has a very deep bass part, it makes my windows rattle.

Yes I like the bass/music tracks more than the songs :D "Blinded By The Light" a.k.a. "A-Ha - Take On Me" is a favorite of mine from them. Shoulda heard this at MSG.. that's why people go.. the sound..

The one I'm talking about starts at :13 and if you're listening to some kind of HD version it sounds like they sampled it deeper for :24. Not posting the original video (which had J-lo in the beginning, they say) but good song. Sampled George Benson? Might not be the most amazing, but.. yes I like West Coast bass-heavy sounds.

Yeah all of them. Terrible.

I am actually having a special day today, just not broadcasting it like I always used to. Because, "why." So.. between that, watching old shows on Hulu, looking at used cars for a friend, I hope they get this one.. and just being in a general state of housecleaning.. I'm really stunned by what we used to like, or what were fads.

I'm at peace with my 90s stuff. It is the 2000s and the 2010s that is getting looked atnow, lol.
