Speaking of the word "na," why was it so popular circa 1968-1979? You have this song, the last 4 minutes of 'Hey Jude, " Steam's 'Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye, " and the group Sha Na Na!Journey's "loving touching squeezing" has 154 na na na na na's in it. That is more than enough to flat out peg my "repetitive" meter and drive me away.
That and "muskrat love" by captain and Tennille. Absolutely awful. I throw up in my mouth every time I hear it. I'm not alone either!
