Of particular dislike for me is "Jeremy"; when it debuted it was thoroughly and completely driven into the ground--along with all of the other grunge bands...Anything by Pearl Jam.

Yes; it supposedly takes its main inspiration from a newspaper article about a 15-year-old boy named Jeremy Wade Delle from Richardson, Texas, who shot himself in front of his teacher and his second period English class of 30 students on the morning of January 8, 1991.Isn't that the one that portrayed a school shooting as much as you could in 1991?

I hate Born In The USA, by Springsteen. I especially hate to hear it on July 4th.
He shot himself in front of the class before anyone could stop him. The song was pathetic and in my opinion there are better ways to discuss mental health than Pearl Jam's lame attempt.Wow. Yeah I remember the end of the video, looks like they had the kids all stay in a pose with paint splotches on them.
K I was 9 years old in 1991 and I figured it out even then.. "Oh, he went in and shot them."
This later borrowed by Sons Of Anarchy, kid shot up the class with an Intratec AB-10 (your "Tec 9" sub machine gun) somewhere around the start of Season 6 or 7.
Speaking of Pearl Jam.
I think I am the only person alive that LIKES this song . Do you all like
or DISlike it ?
Vedder's total overuse of vibrato is![]()
"Piano man" by Billy Joel. I cannot handle 10 seconds of it.
I will just leave this here:Everyone I've played that for says it's like a "weird country song." I agree that part you describe is .. reaching .
