Satisfaction would still be the greatest song in rock and roll history if it were released today. It's timeless; it never gest old.
I would put Fleetwood Mac’s Dreams on here, then I heard this cover by an exceptional young lady I actually prefer to the original.
I still remember hearing this for the first time, already a huge Rush fan I had run out and bought it the second I heard it was out. This album, Moving Pictures, was Rush’s absolute peak to me and many others.
Interesting category - had to think a bit. It's been a while. Beatles stuff when I was a child;

This sure is not going to fit in with all the other choices, but for me Temma Harbor by Mary Hopkin.
Then there was the first time I heard Be Not Afraid at church over 40 years ago.

Loved it first time I heard it...and still do. Goofy tune but fun. The early 80's was a good time.
