Found this on the shelf at Walmart. I am not making this up.

Not sure what the deal was, I checked and it was unopened.

Well, to be fair, that's probably the only PAO on the shelf.

And it's $26 for the five-quart jug. We're spoiled.

That's why I buy all my oil in the U.S. now. Oil/car parts and beer are the 2 things I pretty much no longer buy here at home.
I live about an hour from the Michigan border.

Yeah and it figures it`s across the [censored] country!

My local Meijer store has a bunch of super old M1 too. Nobody will buy it. Who ever stocks the oil always puts it back in the front but even someone who knows nothing about oil isn't dumb enough to buy the old discolored bottle over the new ones. Mostly it's the 10w30. I'd buy it if they were clearing it out but it's full price.

Yes, a complete VOA would be interesting, but not as much as a full gas chromospectography to show the actual basestock makeup.

Anyone have $25K in disposable income laying around??

How'd you come to that conclusion?

.JPG files sometimes contain EXIF data which records these type of things. Some picture viewer/editor software lets you see that info. Digital cameras record stuff in there like what the exposure setting was, F-stop, and so forth.
