Some Donaldson goodness

I was at the local New Holland dealer looking at a tractor with my father and I saw they had some donaldson filters. I asked if he had a P169071 and he said he had 4 and they were $8.49. Suffice to say I bought them all. He asked if we had a ford tractor and I said no it's for my land rover. I have 6 of these now, a mobil 1 301 and Pure One PL30001. I think my filter stash is going to outlast the stupid truck, can't help myself though.

is that the synteq or whatever endurance filter? I'd like to run one on my 302 ford and 360 dodge if I could ever find one.

That's good to know. I had been wondering where to find these filters. I kinda assumed they discontinued them.

I use the p30001 on my 318.

I have found this even larger Filter will fit but it has a lower PSI relief valve.

And perhaps the most desirable for oversized filters:

The Wix Gigantico part number 51714.

Slightly shorter, but a wider can with a 16 psi relief valve
The gasket size is exactly the same.
Start hoarding these!

Yes they are the glass synthetic media that are in amsoil filters. This guy is reliable and sells them for $10 but the shipping is a little steep:

Something like a kubota B series compact tractor. Mainly for hauling stuff around our property.

I've had my B2710 for 7 years with nothing but perfect service. I would buy another one in a heartbeat.
