Being mainly a Linux user for years and have run Ubuntu, Linux Mint, etc., found that SolusOS floats my boat.
Have installed the 64 bit version on both my Netbook and Laptop and like what I see.
Had Linux Mint on both and had the install format and use the existing Linux partition.
Used the File Manager to backup my pictures, documents, etc., to an external drive before installation. Too checked it so it showed hidden files and backup the .thunderbird & .mozilla files.
