Soldier throws puppy off a cliff!!!

The "puppy" seems quite limp and non-animated. When it is thrown it appears just like OJ did in that one "Naked Gun" movie when he is ejected from his wheel chair at the stadium: end-over-end and no sign of life.

We'll one of my good friends called to talk to me today. He was just chatting about whats going on at the base and things (He's getting ready to be deployed again) he said that the video was true; and that several people on the base he's currently attending knew the people who did it. I think it was fake, Ive seen animals being thrown, they spin a good bit more once airborne, even though, its a animal, not a person, they have no rights and are food in many countries. The idea that they should be prosecuted is rediculas, I could care less if they use them for skeet, although cats work better.

If you look at the video, the puppy's legs are curled when he/she is held by the neck. If the puppy was dead the legs would be limp and hanging. If you have ever held a dog by the neck they always curl their legs as a defense mechanism which leads me to believe that the tape is real.

One of the worst thing a military unit can have is a breakdown in discipline. That is far more significant a problem that the actual killing of the dog.

It looked disturbingly real to me ... except for that yelping sound.

We do not train our soldiers to enjoy inflicting pain and suffering ... the Japanese and the Nazis did that in WWII. Remember ... They were the bad guys and we tried them for war crimes afterward.

I'd stick by these guys in a situation where they killed dozens in an ambush, etc ... but this was wrong and they should be punished severely.

There are few things more defenseless than a baby ... baby human, kitten or puppy. Someone who preys on this ... then laughs about it afterwards has a serious problem.

There is a vast difference between brutal combat ... and acts of cruelty against an innocent.

When their tour(s) are over, soldiers are expected to go home and be functioning members of the community ... not depraved monsters prone to violent eruptions.

If it's real, make them pay dearly ... make real examples of them.

(I I didn't even go into the negative PR aspect of this)

Jackasses tend to get approval by their own kind.
I have several friends still in the miltary and none of them go around throwing animals off cliffs.
