Sockets Needed for Oil Change 2020 Ford Edge

I'd recommend you head to Youtube. Not only will you know the tools you need you'll also know the locations of everything and any potential pain points.

Find a youtube video, some give that info, some dont.
Chances are your standard metric socket set 10mm-19mm with a few extensions is what you will need, plus a filter wrench.

To OP: If this is your first oil change?
DO NOT use a disposable baking tin as an oil catch-as shown in the video in post #3.
They're very flimsy and, frankly, a foolish thing to use. Get a catch pan with a spout.
The spout easily fits into whatever transfer jug.

If it's like my 2013 Edge, it'll be a 15mm socket for the drain plug. If using an oil filter wrench that attaches to a ratchet, a short extension is a good idea. My Edge doesn't have any covers.

First, no. I've changed oil quite a bit in the 90s on '89-'92 vehicles and a '78 Jeep.

Haven't done it since but would like to start doing it again as I have the time and space when I'm home.
