Gents,

I'm using a Fram Titanium oil filter on my '15 Chevy Volt. Of course, being a geek, I have magnets and a pair of FilterMags on the filter (FS3980 in case anyone's curious).

Now I'm wondering if I've been scammed. The magnets are sticking to the filter just fine, but titanium is not magnetic. What gives?

Man\woman, you must have a lot of wear......you know iron floating around in the oil, enough to attract the magnet... :ROFLMAO:

nice to have a laugh......OP, you should not have asked this question in open forum, next time just PM @kschachn

Titanium (or any other specified material) medical-tech tools must've carried some hefty price tags!

Years ago, while reloading shotshells, I spilled a load of #4 shot. My father said, "Let me get my lead magnet".
A guy watching said, "I've never seen one of those".
