30 miles ? I would roll the dice and use an escort vehicle . Make sure it has insurance . But that's just me .
I would rather invest the $$$ in something that potentially increases in value
Just use the plates off of one of your other vehicles...Some people misunderstood, I won the eBay auction, it's not free
$1426 was the final bid
I'm getting shipping quotes to get it the 30 miles or so home, because how can I drive with no plates![]()
Great way to do things! Here in Ontario, you can legally put any currently valid plate you own, that has insurance tied to it, onto a new vehicle for up to 10 days.
Well. my '05 xB cost $13,900 new, it might only have a ~$3K book value, but it also has gone a nearly trouble-free 117K miles, and will keep going until the body rusts off... Not happening yet! I couldn't replace it for $30K, even the (not as good) Kia Souls are in the $25 grand range now!I would rather invest the $$$ in something that potentially increases in value
I bet. Use caution with Kroil. Of course the cost would probably prevent many from using it. I used to order it at work and it was insane expensive. My guess the soak will not help anything with the oil consumption, it may make it worst, because it is typical the valve seal will break down after 10 years. Old seal plus Kroil is recipe for quick destroy.
Paging @53' Stude lol@The Critic and @eljefino both have fairly recent threads about buying used Toyotas
That sounds a little before my timeThe scratches on the window may have been done with a metal tool used as an ice scraper.
In my opinion, you've beautified Staten Island a little. I'm a former resident.
Do you remember the foreign car parts yard on "Richmond & Richmond" (Rd. & Terrace)?
