Looks great, though it would have been nice if they'd cleaned the engine bay a little bit. Assuming it runs well $1,425 is a great price for just about any car. The 9-5 is a nice car and this one looks pretty smooth without the badges on the back.
You benefitted from Saab's terrible resale values. I'm probably selling my 2003 Aero w/190k+ in a few months, am curious to see how much I can get for it.
How does one buy a car over ebay without even being near it? I am curious as to what your next steps are. Don't get me wrong, I want to learn and understand the mechanics of buying an old car from ebay remotely.
For $1425, even if it's a total piece, you could easily part it out and make back that cash and then some. I say drive it until the doors fall off or it becomes a financial nightmare to repair.
The local Saab mechanic is giving it a thorough inspection as I write this. If all checks out I'm taking the train from NC to NJ next Thursday and driving it back.
