Should I sacrifice one for you all to see?

I bought six of them and they looks like a decent filter for the price. Made in Korea, base plate looks a little strange and they are right around $4 each on rock auto.

Cut it open

Hmmm. Korea? It will probably be really well built.

But I say the curiosity satisfied is worth a lot more than 4$ if you plan on using them on a car you love.

Cut it haha!

No I hereby pardon the sacrificial filter and request that you put it into service as intended.

I have six of them plus a Fram Ultra on the shelf. I can cut one open now to see the guts, and it will take me about 2 to 3 years to use all of those filters.

Looks to have the "anti-siphon valve" in the center tube.

Love the Beck Arnley logo, looks so '70s futuristic lol.

I really think this is going to be a well made, metal endcaps, coil spring with a nitrile ADBV.

I would definately cut one up just for confidence in running them.

I am no expert by any means but the only thing that concerns me is the really wide pleat at the seam. The drain back valve is black so I assume it's rubber, O-ring style gasket, and the can itself seems to be stout. Not bad for a $4 filter.

Tell me what you think

Thanks for the cut and pics !
I like it

Internals look similar to the Mahle OC330s I use on the Accord of mine.
