One of the original Nascar organizations. Henry Ford got to know the Wood Brothers, liked them and guaranteed factory support. I hired a son in law of the Brothers whose wife was in that terrible accident returning from a race. She survived but a couple family members didn't. 100th win and they are not usually competitive.

Yeah, I'd call that a popular win for sure. That Burton kid sure looked happy! (As did his folks) 
Amazing to see. I don’t usually watch NASCAR anymore but I caught the finish between the WoO LM and Sprint car features. It was awesome to see them get their 100th win. Way to go Burton! Hopefully this helps him land a ride for 25.

I visited the Wood Brothers museum last week. It’s their former race shop but now their current shop is in Mooresville, N.C. The hose reels seen clearly in the second pic were left hanging from the ceiling. Definitely worth a visit if you’re ever in the vicinity of Stuart, Va. Free admission and very kind people.
