Do they make home heating oil cleaners? Should be fairly clean burning as it is but i figured i would ask anyhow.

I would think the Redline 85 Plus—Diesel Fuel Enhancer would be a better choice as the fuels are very similar. This idea is interesting.I wonder also about the benefits on a oil burner pump and nozzles.

you'd want a diesel fuel additive, and i dont see the real benefit to using an additive like this. A heating oil nozzle is significantly different from an automotive injector.

You really want to get the sludge and water into the fuel phase, and out through the nozzle to be burnt. Home depot sells some such additives.

AMSOIL made a Home Heating Fuel additive which worked extremely well, according to those who used it. I still have a case or 2 on the shelf-most in the area use natural gas, and those that were buying regularly changed over.
It has now been replaced by Diesel Fuel Concentrate, which can also be used in any diesel, light or heavy duty.

Used FP60 in some kerosene heaters with no issues at all. The wicks are a little cleaner after letting it burn out completely with it in there. The heaters burned out a few times before the use of FP60, and the carbon was still thick and gummy.

How about adding MMO, Lucas UCL, redline SL 1, gumout regaine diesel treatment, too your furnace oil tank? if so, how much would you generally add?
