Had this happen to my 2011 snow blower. We moved in 2016 and the snow blower was stored with SeaFoam treated gas. Fast forward to a month ago, we had a bad snowstorm coming and I really needed to have it going. Obviously it wouldn't start and I was thiking new carb based on the amount of time that had past. Rather than dwell on that I got busy. Drained all the bad gas, removed and cleaned the float bowl, float and pin. I used a piece of high test fishing line to unplug the main jet. Then I shot seafoam spray up the main jet a couple times over an hour. Put everything back together, added fresh gast and it started on the 1st pull and worked through that storm like a boss. Had that gas not been treated with SeaFoam it may have been a different story, hard to say.
