I have a three y-o Simplacity Pro snow blower with a B&S that I usually change the oil on every season. Last season I had an extra quart of AMSOIL Signature Series 0w30 or 5w30 I cant recall but anyway the winter was so lite I think I used it maybe twice for like 45 min each time so I was thinking about not changing it this year good or bad idea? The oil looks like new by the way.

You are good to go another winter IMO. I have not changed the Valvoline syn. 5w30 in my Ariens as it doesn't have more than 1hr. run time last winter. Gas it up with clean, 0%E gas (if available in your area) and you are ready for those flakes to fly.FWIW--Oldtommy

When questions like this arise, I always think of all of my relatives growing up and their small-engine equipment. I don't think I remember a single one of them changing the oil in any of them, ever! The oil was always BLACK and some of the older equipment was hard to start and smoked while running, but none of them died throughout my entire childhood, so...
What I'm trying to say is that another season probably won't matter, given the oil and interval.

That's the truth! There seems to be three types of owners.
1) Those who at best add oil every now and then & run it 'till it breaks.
2) Those who have it carted off to an OPE shop yearly for a $100 oil change and "check up".
3) Us BITOG types!
any one of the three can have success.
