I have a small leak in my 1994 Jeep. I replaced radiator upper and lower hose during Christmas. Put in new long life antifreeze thinking hose was old and leaking. However I now realize that the leak is from somewhere, not sure really where, except that it is on passenger side of radiator. I have looked several times from above and below to no avail. So now I am considering some type of additive to stop the leak. My question is what really works and has worked for you in the past. Thanks for the input.

Additive to fix a leak , I hope your doing that as a temporary fix , other wise take it off have a radiator shop fix it right.

I don't recommend a stop leak in these vehicles.
Add a dye and search with a black light, then replace/repair the leaking component.

Forget the stop leak additive.

+1 on the dye. The dye is water soluble so look every day.

Given the age of the car my money is on cracked radiator tank or leaking tank to core gasket. Radiators aren't too expensive, at least.

Check the over flow hose (from the radiator cap area to the overflow bottle), and take a good look for leaks around the radiator cap. If the gasket on the radiator cap leaks, it may not show up until the cooling system overflows some when parked after running long enough to be hot. The radiator cap gasket only has to seal when the cooling system is overflowing after the engine is shut down, and also when the cooling system cools enough to pull the fluid back in from the overflow bottle.

After a drive long enough to get the engine hot, on shut down sprinkle some white powder such as flower around the area of the radiator cap, and the overflow hose. Close the hood and let the overflow and sucking fluid back into the cooling system happen normally.
