SKF bearings not authentic? Pics inside..

Well RockAuto facilitates the returns and restocks, so it is on them too. I've had mixed success with RA. Probably 50% correct & quality part, 50% junk. Only thing worse is the Jungle website for auto parts.
I've got used parts from the jungle site more than once.

I also scanned all 6 items and emailed it off to SKF for further explanation.
That seems like the best direction to go.

I imagine the boxes could be scanned by an importer to ensure they are legit and then (maybe) some certification produced. Or they could be copies of legit boxes, the same serial number over and over.

While I wait for a response from SKF, I’m searching different forums in regards to SKF counterfeits. A few posts suggest that counterfeiters are making replica SKF boxes and stuffing no-name parts into them. All of my bearings have SKF and part #’s laser etched into them, but we know just how advanced scammers can get..

I’ll ask because I assume you may know; do they (Bumper to Bumper) carry a good reputation?

Yes, they're as good as any independent parts stores. They are listed on major parts mfr sites as authorized dealers. They are reputable sellers.

I even put zip code 35957 on their reseller list, and that address shows up. In addition, SKF has an Amazon store, and you can buy it sold and shipped directly from SKF (look for SKF USA VA) in the "other sellers on Amazon" section.

Put in your zip code on the SKF lookup, and the Bumper to Bumper stores will show up.

A bit of deja vu ?

It's not Rock Auto that you have to trust/distrust, it's their customers. People do swap parts with counterfeits and play the return game.
Honesty... I really wonder how som people sleep at night, but they sleep like babies. To hell with the rest of the worlds people. Real real sad.

Update:

SKF got back to me after I sent them pics of all 4 wheel bearings and the 2 bearing seals. They all checked out (which is a relief). Thanks everyone as always for your input!
