I've got used parts from the jungle site more than once.Well RockAuto facilitates the returns and restocks, so it is on them too. I've had mixed success with RA. Probably 50% correct & quality part, 50% junk. Only thing worse is the Jungle website for auto parts.
That seems like the best direction to go.I also scanned all 6 items and emailed it off to SKF for further explanation.
While I wait for a response from SKF, I’m searching different forums in regards to SKF counterfeits. A few posts suggest that counterfeiters are making replica SKF boxes and stuffing no-name parts into them. All of my bearings have SKF and part #’s laser etched into them, but we know just how advanced scammers can get..That seems like the best direction to go.
I imagine the boxes could be scanned by an importer to ensure they are legit and then (maybe) some certification produced. Or they could be copies of legit boxes, the same serial number over and over.
Where are you getting Bumper to Bumper? Is that the same as? https://www.npwcompanies.com/locations/I doubt Bumper to Bumper is selling counterfeit parts, but you never know.
I’ll ask because I assume you may know; do they (Bumper to Bumper) carry a good reputation?
Honesty... I really wonder how som people sleep at night, but they sleep like babies. To hell with the rest of the worlds people. Real real sad. It's not Rock Auto that you have to trust/distrust, it's their customers. People do swap parts with counterfeits and play the return game.
Yep. I’m not a fan of that. I just sent SKF additional photos of my bearings as per their email. They said that my seals are genuine, but need more pics of the bearings to verify.Label says rock auto returns department?
What is the return address? Where did they come from?![]()
