I just bought two SuperTech filter for my 1999 Nissan altima. But the SuperTech filter is much smaller than the OEM filter I am using right now. Is it going to be a problem?

I wouldn't use it. If its the one I'm thinking of its the 6607??. Anyway I'd recommend the Mobil M1 110, the K&N HP 1010, The purolator is 14620 (I think)

Those filters fit my '98 Honda VTR1000 motorcyle.

I considered using them but the OEM Honda filter made by Toyo Roki is built like a battleship and appears to have very good filter media with at least 30% more media than the next best competitor (M1).

Who makes the OEM filter for the Nissan?

edit, spelling

I do not know who made Nissan OEM filter, But I remember see some post about it somewhere. it is very good filter. but I have to pay about $5 each.

The supertech filters are not only smaller than OEM but their filter elements are substantially smaller than the casing.

Meaning they could have filled up that room with filter element but they didn't.
