After a 11 year fight my sister passed away this morning. I posted I think last year where she got her lung transplant. We were hoping that would be the last and hopefully she could live a normal life. Unfortunately after 9 months she rejected her lungs which is rare. There's only 1 surviving lung transplant in her group now. Her story started with leukemia back when she was 16-17. She gave her all and fought everything that was thrown at her. It gives us a small bit of peace that she is finally without pain and struggles. She passed on peacefully after mom showed up to the hospital this morning. She would of been 28 in October.

she was about a month younger than me so it hits home for me. Sounds like she has an awesome family that supported her.
