Should we get AGM or just normal batteries

Always use the battery type and group number that the original equipment manufacturer specifies. With today's vehicles being so dependent on voltage, and alternators that turn on and off and charge as needed, and with multiple modules communicating. All these vehicles nowadays are nothing but a bunch of computers and modules that all run on voltage. Stick with what the manufacturer recommends

Whatever kind it came with originally. No point dicking around with batteries especially with all the sensitive electronics in newer vehicles.
