Anyone out there actually work there and have any stories?
Walmart has a policy of not allowing unions to form. They fight it tooth and nail and go to great lengths.
A part of the corporate culture is to promote a male dominated environment. I think there is now a class action lawsuit by their current and former employees.
Employee relationship is not great. Quite a lot of their employees fall within poverty guidelines and qualify for Medicaid. They are basically working poor.
Their vendor relationships are not that great either as they leverage their buying power to lower the costs.
Overall, as a business, they are OK. As a part of the society they suck.
