How far were you planning to go on this fill? Are you dumping this one early too as it's only the second fill?

I'm gonna follow the advice. I'm gonna leave it in. My guess is the OLM will have me change it around 5k on the fill, and I'll probably change it around there. Currently the OLM is shooting for 4k, but with this 1,100 miles most likely at 75mph, I think it'll be fine.

The Professor's advice, is that, no, you shouldn't change it before the trip.
Follow the OLM, on a modern car I would expect at least 6k-7k.
