should i get a steamer?

i like to keep my cars clean and help freind do thiers also. been watching the vids and the steamers seems to be a real time saver when doing an interior. thinking of getting one.

So those that have one for non pro use, are they worth the cost to you?

Bissell makes an OK one.

Definitely get a steamer for food, though.... man, they are nice to have!

But seriously, I bought a McCulloch 1275 and love it. It really cuts through the grime and is a great non chemical cleaner. I also is it around the house a lot, too

The 1275 holds 48oz of water (use distilled) and gives 45 minutes of steam on a full tank. The 1375 and 1385 hold more water and give 10 more psi, but I've been happy with my 1275.

Steamers have their value, but I think you will find more uses for a tornador black (with the velocity vac attachment) than a steamer. Between a Tornador Black and an extractor, I think you will have your needs covered.
