I have a 91 gmc sierra with a 4.3 engine. It has 95000 miles and runs good. This engine always seemed to be dirty or sooty with carbon buildup inside the pcv valve and it looks a little dirty inside the valve cover. This engine does not leak oil and i changed the oil every 4-5000 miles. If i rx the engine im concerned that it may begin to leak from the rear seal as a few people have reported. I do wonder if there is a bunch of crud built up inside the motor and ringpacks that would benefit the engine if i remove it. Hmm any ideas?
