Short filter?

What problems have you had? I’m in Ohio

Torn filter media, inverted ADBV, Cold start racket and bad warmup racket.
Many commutes at -15C. Nissan and Toyota engines were the worst actors

I prefer the long filters, the 47045 fits my Regal GS 2.0T and our 98 Malibu LTZ 3.6. Also fit the wifes 15 GMC Terrrain 3.6.

They finally figured out that you don’t need a filter the size of a coffee can to do the job. My Mazda has a very small filter, around 2” by 3”.

But they then moved to much a larger 10575 sized filter in 2007+ on all the gm truck engines the 4.3 v6 or 5.3 and 6.2 v8. the filter on my 05 6.0 is the 3506 which is smaller. I think they figured out the inverse.
