My friend used to own a shop that did custom car work and he had a Hunter tire balancer.
His buddy at a ford dealership had the massive alignment machine that he often used.
From what I understand, once the qualified tech starts doing it, it should only take the day.
It's just trying to find someone who knows what they are doing. A rep from Hunter set the machine up at ford. I don't know if a manufacturer rep needs to do the recal, or if a ford mechanic can just follow directions and do it themselves. . .
Either way, a good shop should have the machine up and running one way or another fairly quickly.
