Shell makes a clear car to show oil

Wow, I would love to see that. I hope it ends up in a museum somewhere, might be worth a stop. Doubt it will come to the US, since Helix isn't a brand here?
 
Neatest thing Ive seen since I made a "Visible V8" model as a kid! I ruined my model by putting oil in it though! Styrene and oil arent happy campers ;(

I still have my invisible engine - I think, if I recall, it was a Ford 2.3 engine. Lately, I built an invisible Harley V-Twin with my son and that was very educational for him.

This is a cool add. I for one like adds like that. However if XM did that same add some here would be scouffing and bashing. Just an unbiased observation. HeHe.

It always interesting to me that the same cars in the US that call for Xw20 or Xw30 in the States call for Xw30, Xw40 or higher in the rest of the world. It would be interesting to learn if the same vehicles sold in the US where lower viscosity oils are recommended are doing better or worse in regards to used oil analysis and engine longevity than the same vehicles using higher viscosity oil in the rest of the world.
