Awesome Shell Helix Oil Commercial

All this talk of "clean" reminds me of a hair shampoo commercial. "Shell/Pennzoil Ultra will remove 40% of hair style product in the first use and moisturize at the same time!"

I prefer this type of marketing to that of Jimmy and his dipstick. Castrol markets their oils to 17 year old ricers.

I like it, very good idea, very well thought out that shows how the product works etc. Good to know SOPUS/Shell isn't cheap when it comes to trying to pass information onto the consumer in the best means possible.

I'm guilty of putting a maremont ' cherrybomb" on my first car, a 65 Buick Nailhead 401. Boy that sounded awesome to me at the time. Now I drive a yaris with NO $300- 50-pound stainless steel coffee can option. I aint no JDM ho ho ho

I never made the connection between the Castrol commercials and ricers. There's a Scottish guy what whips people with a dipstick and a bunch of people getting sludge dropped on them.

If anything, Royal Purple should be accused of it since they had a product placement in Tokyo Drift

Very cool! Amazing how much work (and in this case Money) goes into a 30 second commercial.

Well, there is the Edge ad with the 'Fabio-lookalike' guy getting his locks, the other customer's locks, and the (VERY cutie

) cashier girl's locks blown back by the oil bottle, and then the 'blazing' acceleration said Edge produced in his 350Z causing this once more.

But no, I would not necessarily call that a ricer demographic targeting commercial, but kind of pointless none the less.

Your local Ferrari dealer could probably special order it for you, or you could buy one and have the oil changed there for $1500.00 or so.

But seriously, I am told that it is the same formulation as (or VERY similar to) our Pennzoil Ultra, save for the Euro/exotic viscosities we cannot get on our shores.
