Shelf life for Synchromesh MTL

I have a full bottle of Pennzoil Synchromesh, it has been sitting on the shelf, tightly sealed, in my unheated and non-air conditioned garage for 2 years now. I need to buy another bottle to put with it and change out the manual transmission lube in my truck pretty soon.

Just wondering, is there any time limt in the shelf life of MTL? I know oil is good on the shelf for 2 or 3 years, and some have used oil even older than that. I am not sure about gear oil or MTL. Just wondering if it's OK to use this 2 year old MTL and is there anything to look out for in the condition of the MTL?

Just shake it good. 5-10 years shelf life

There are cars out there with fluid that is 5-15 years oil.

2 years in the bottle is nothing. Bring it up to room temp indoors and give it a good shake.

I'd use it myself with no extra thought.

The new one you buy may be older, BTW!
